Weekly charts, 18 October 2026: Prospa and Kettama lead Beatport, Basement Jaxx’s Reboot remixes lead Traxsource

This edition follows BEZ’s Beatport Top 10 Sunday post of 11 October, published on 12 October, and looks at the overall track charts on both Beatport and Traxsource. BEZ checked both charts on Sunday, 18 October 2026, between about 16:08 and 16:10 UTC (12:08 to 12:10 PM Miami time). The positions below are as they appeared then and may have changed since.

A note on method: both pages present an overall Top 100 with no genre filter. Neither says on screen how it ranks tracks or when the chart was last updated. BEZ therefore does not describe these as sales charts. BEZ’s earlier post listed only Beatport’s Top 10, and it does not state which Beatport chart it used or when the list was captured. This article therefore makes no claim about movement up or down since then.

Beatport Top 10

The top spot goes to “Think of You” by Prospa, Kettama and Rohan Pinnock-Hamilton on Steel City Dance Discs. Beatport’s Top 10 spans four genres: House, Tech House, Deep House and Dance / Pop.

Editor’s note: Beatport positions 3 to 10 rest on a single capture, taken at about 16:08-16:10 UTC. A later re-check confirmed positions 1 and 2 only; the rest of the Beatport page did not load fully.

Traxsource Top 10

Traxsource’s chart looks very different. Basement Jaxx hold two of the top five places with Reboot’s extended remixes of “Samba Magic” (No. 1) and “Do Your Thing” (No. 4). Both are on Atlantic Jaxx Recordings and both are dated 2 October. Remixers take several other top places too. Terry Hunter remixes Jill Scott’s “Right Here Right Now” (No. 3), and Sgt Slick remixes Soul Central’s “Strings Of Life / Un Amore Supremo” (No. 5). Timmy Regisford remixes Byron Stingily and Darryl James’ “So Grateful” (No. 8). Adeva features on Neal Conway’s “Respect” at No. 10. At No. 2, “(Extended Mix)” is part of the displayed title. *No. 8 shows a future release date (23 October); the page does not say whether this is a pre-release or a store exclusive.

Beatport and Traxsource: two stores, two audiences

No track appears in both Top 10s, and readers shouldn’t treat the two charts as equivalent rankings. Beatport’s top end this week is mostly house and tech house with crossover Dance / Pop titles. Traxsource’s is mostly soulful, disco-leaning house, much of it remixes. Taken together, Beatport and Traxsource show more of what is reaching the top of the dance download market than either chart does alone. Next week’s capture will show which of these tracks are holding their places.
