Soul royalty and house music heritage have aligned at the top of the charts. The soulful house rework of Jill Scott’s “Right Here Right Now,” produced alongside Chicago house legend Terry Hunter, has officially surged to #1 on the Traxsource Top 100.

Released via Blues Babe Records in partnership with Human Re Sources and The Orchard, the 124 BPM record delivers a masterclass in classic, uplifting groove. Terry Hunter’s signature Chicago production strips the tempo into infectious four-on-the-floor territory, layering lush Rhodes chords, organic percussion, and rolling basslines beneath Scott’s unmistakable, soul-drenched vocal delivery.

With heavy rotation from taste-making DJs including Tony Humphries, Todd Terry, and Emmaculate, the track quickly became an essential weapon for deep and soulful house sets worldwide. The milestone celebrates both Jill Scott’s seamless crossover into the club landscape and Hunter’s enduring dominance within underground house culture.

“Right Here Right Now (Jill Scott x Terry Hunter)” is available now for download and streaming across Traxsource and all digital platforms.
